About me
I'm Moritz Hunke, a passionate UX & UI Designer with a penchant for design systems. I strongly believe that good design can positively impact the world and strive to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
When I'm not working on design projects, you'll probably find me on my motorbike on my way to the next adventure or looking for new destinations and challenges. Whether it's hiking through majestic mountains, immersing myself in local street food in hidden alleyways or exploring historical sites, I'm open to everything travelling has to offer.
Beside this I spend my time in a CrossFit box and compete against myself. This is the perfect balance for everyday life, as it involves a lot of physical exertion and mental training to achieve your goals.
These experiences inspire me in my work as a UX designer and broaden my horizons.
I am a self-taught learner and love to take on new challenges. Whether it's mastering new design tools or familiarizing myself with new technologies, I'm always willing to expand my knowledge and evolve.

As head of the app design team, I was responsible for the design of the successful revision of various features within an app. In addition, my work also included the development of cross-platform projects as well as the management and creation of a digital design system. The starting point for this design system was particularly exciting, as the existing patterns were based on outdated and obsolete principles. There was therefore plenty of room for improvement, which will have a positive and lasting impact on all platforms. The design system will also be implemented in web components to support development and guarantee a consistent appearance.
I also support the roadmap planning for various platforms in order to realise the company's long-term goals. My achievements in team leadership and design responsibility reflect my skills and contribution to successful projects.UI/UX Designer

In my role as UI/UX Designer, I have successfully dedicated myself to the conception and design of various cross-platform projects. The focus of my work was on the design harmonization of all platforms to ensure a consistent and appealing appearance. Within these projects, I liaised closely with various client contacts to understand complex challenges and create suitable solutions. One project was particularly exciting during this time and had a major impact on the perception of the client Miles & More. This is the major relaunch of the status programme, which will go live in January 2024.
The main aim of this relaunch is to make the status programme easier to understand and more transparent for users. I have developed this relaunch on all platforms, mainly from a design & UX perspective.UI Designer

During this time, I successfully conceptualized, designed and supported the implementation of websites as a UI & UX designer. I focussed in particular on an outstanding user experience and making complex information as simple as possible. Using targeted UX research methods, I developed precise wireframes and prototypes to realize aesthetic and user-friendly solutions. During my work, I placed particular emphasis on working closely with clients, acting as a consultant and actively supporting them in realizing their individual requirements and goals. In addition, I brought my expertise to front-end development to ensure that design concepts could be seamlessly translated into technical implementation.
